Cabo with Kids
I’ve lived in California for over 18 years, but had never before visited Los Cabos – the area of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula that includes the towns of San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas – despite it being an extremely easy, nearby destination. So in mid-December I flew down with Travelocity, the Roaming Gnome, and several friends to explore the southern peninsula. And given that my specialty is family travel, my focus was on what in Cabo is family-friendly, what I’m going to want to do with my kids when I take them to Los Cabos, and where we’re going to want to stay.
Over three days we explored two amazing resorts (Paradisus and Garza Blanca), we ate extremely well, we rode camels, we cruised out past the Land’s End arch at sunset, we relaxed at the pool and beach, and overall had a great time.
I wrote up all of my thoughts over on Travelocity’s website, so click HERE to check it out! And please let me know what I missed – either in the comments here or at the end of the Travelocity post. I want my next trip to be even better!
