The Best Big City Hotels
This month Travelocity asked me to write about my favorite big city hotels, as a complement to my post on amazing destination hotels. I loved doing this post and thinking through everywhere we’ve stayed in the world’s largest cities, and which hotels really impressed us with their service, locations and kid-friendliness primarily, but also with pools and views whenever possible. The Peninsula Bangkok
No surprise that I’m including the Peninsula Bangkok! We love everything about the hotel, and route our flights through Bangkok whenever possible to stay there. The location, pool, water shuttles and breakfasts can’t be beat.

Aria Hotel Budapest
The location of the Aria Hotel Budapest is absolutely perfect, as is the view from the rooftop patio and the kid-friendly room setup.
